Vision and brand platform

Our brand platform shall help positioning Gjensidige as the most customer-oriented company in the Nordic insurance industry. This is based on our vision: We shall know the customer best and care the most. The brand platform is intended to serve as a guide for communication, attitudes, behaviour and deliveries – externally and internally.

A new version of Gjensidige's traditional Watchman logo was introduced in December 2012 together with a brand new visual profile that is designed to signal customer-orientation and ensure effective communication in digital channels.

With a history dating back nearly 200 years, Gjensidige's culture is characterised by a genuine concern for our customers. Internally, we have chosen the phrase passionate enthusiasm (ildsjel) to express our identity. The qualities of the passionate enthusiast make it possible to deliver the Gjensidige Experience.

The communication concept Prepared for life is about our involvement in the lives of people and companies, both before and after an incident occurs. Through their contact with Gjensidige, our customers shall feel that we know them, care about them, make things easy for them and help them.
